Code HOS04: Discovering truly culture of Vietnamese villages.

Time: 2 Days 1 Night

HIEULIEM HOMESTAY Details Program:

DAY 1: SAI GON- HIEU LIEM- VINH CUU (Lunch and Dinner)

08:00AM: The bus takes tourists from Sai Gon to Hieu Liem. Visit racehorse training camp. Visit Toai Tam Orchid Garden. Tourists have a rest at their own room. Then they will find out about the activities and the life of the family they are staying with as well as accustom themselves with all family members.

Lunch time: having lunch at home with local dishes prepared by the host and hostess.

15:00PM: Tourists contemplate the scene and learn economic activities of local people by bicycles. Then tourists will go to “ Hươu Nai” village, “hươu nai” is a kind of wild deer that was tamed and now being kept rather popular in this area.  After having dinner, tourists will learn Vietnamese, vietnamese currency and how to use money. They will also learn communication together with proper behaviors in family culture and the way local people prepare for their daily meals.

DAY 2: HIEU LIEM HOMESTAY ( Breakfast and Lunch)

06:30AM: Tourists get up early, do exercises and go jogging

 07:30: Local guide and tourist take a bicycle ride to a local farm in Hieu Liem Village. This trip tourist will star by experiencing a day of working with local farmers in a vegetable garden. We will take a short walk around the garden and learn how to prepare the soil and plant some vegetable.  Here you will be introduced some vegetable or specialize a vegetable in the garden or hearing some  of way the cultivation of the vegetables as well as discovering the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine. You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Other activities will include: raking, sowing, and watering greens, picking greens, etc…

After that They will have breakfast there or at some restaurants with a splendid menu of “ Pho”, “ bánh canh”( a kind of noodle), “ hủ tiếu”( another kind of noodle), “ bún” (also a kind of noodle with beef, pork….)… If tourists prefer doing exercises, they can go around Tri An lake in early morning by bicycles and watch sunrise there. Then have breakfast at local restaurants with the dishes mentioned above. After breakfast, tourists will be guided to buy fresh food at the market to prepare for lunch with special local dishes. This will help the tourists to experience more in the real Vietnamese life and discover strangely attractive Vietnamese cuisine.

Lunch: Tourists cook lunch with the family, learn how to make vietnamese dishes by their own hands and have lunch. Take a rest after that.

After that tourists will take a break at local houses, drink tea and talk with host and hostess before leaving.

14:00PM:  Tourists come back to Sai Gon or continue the journey to explore the tropical forest by bus. The end of the trip, thank you, see you again!
